Welcome to The End of All Things

You've come to The End.

A terrible virus has ravaged the earth. There are few survivors.

Human civilization as we know it is gone.

Things fall apart ...

Law and order have broken down.

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world ...

The grocery stores are empty.

The shops have been looted.

The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere...

The ceremony of innocence is drowned;

How would you survive? Would you abide by the old rules of the social contract, with compassion, kindness and generosity? Or would you accept the law of the jungle where only the strongest survive?

The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity...

Carly and Justin confront these questions at The End of All Things.

But there is still hope, a light among the shadows. If the old world is gone, it is up to the survivors to rebuild a new one.

Carly finds strength in her faith that things can be even better than they were before, that compassion and charity are not luxuries; they are what make us human.

Life endures, and so does love. The End of All Things is only a beginning.

Come what may, they will face it together with courage and love.

  3. I read the first few pages of this book when it appeared in my suggested reading list in Amazon.com and was immediately drawn into the story and had to buy it(the Kindle edition).
A wizened old world-weary bloke like myself found something in this amazing tale of love, courage and hope among the most dire and dreadful of circumstances. Something that drew powerful emotional explosions from deep within and, when completed in three sessions over three days, left me wanting more. I have read quite a few 'end of civilisation' books and I rate this higher than any.
I want to be Justin but I am satisfied that you gave Eric Bana the nod ;)

    1. Thank you so much. I wanted this to be a tale of the best of the human spirit shining in the worst of circumstances. To paraphrase an old saying, you never know the strengths you have until you find yourself in need of them.

Thank you for your kind words. There will be more... A sequel is coming, hopefully next year.
